Up and running!

May 5, 2010

After some further tweaking the machine was ready for the first extrusion. All went well

Then I tried the raft calibration file from bfb. Results turned out good, bed was not perfectly level but that was fixed fast. I just noticed that the extruder waits for the temperature increase at a wrong place. Bottom left corner, it waits for the temp increase just above the bed. (you can see the blop of abs)

  1. If you mount the acrylic print plate the correct way (flip it up-side down), the holes will line up and you wont wait for temp at the “wrong place” :-)
